Hi Berit,

I was going over this nobelini stuff on Sunday and am finding it really hard to understand your concept of positive and negative working together in a tangible piece of design... Negative and positive generally go hand in hand I guess but... So I shall stumble through and try to explain what I think might work...

Firstly we HAVE to have this proposal finished by Friday as I am way this weekend (as are you) and cant work on it then..

For a theme I think we are either stem cells of sythetic systems.... Maybe more systems.

I have been trying to come up with a design concept to display our thinking... I still really urge us to make something which communicates the idea in an interactive manner, I do not think making something people just look at is something we should even entertain the thought of.

As our work has been a kind of thinking process which we have wondered through and engaged with I think it would be fitting to make a maze of thoughts... So at the start you would begin with the starting question and then have to follow the results around until it reached it's end. As we are pushing this negative data idea I think the 'end' of the maze should be a dead end but as we are saying negative data can be interesting and important in its own right I think the 'dead end' should have a secret exit which could then display a piece which applys this negative finding, like the suit or sofat type of idea u mentioned?

Does this sound like an idea you could entertain?
