fantastic, i understood!!!
i just realized that there is a negative data aspect in the textile
making as well. the horse hair really doesn't want to get felted, and
its structure is really fragile. i am doing now a series of the horse
hair image, slowly dissolving as the structure doesn't stay for long.
so it could be a textile that keeps itself clean and gets back to its
original stage, so it can be re-used over and over again. does that
make sense to you?
we could also say that the bacteria do something specific as you
mentioned before. any ideas for the horse hair case?
at the end we shouldn't identify what the product is...a suit or sofa
or whatever. it is totally fine to say, we make textile surfaces and
leave it up to the imagination of the people who see and touch them.
what do you think?
